The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.
SASSA will be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency mentioned it's alarmed regarding the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area daily. The services position created for intervention activities a superior inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it difficult with the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to permit hereread more the servicing of all buyers and enhance use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
